Enrollment Policy and Application Process
Oyster Bilingual Elementary School is a dual-language (Spanish/English) immersion school in which all students are taught simultaneously in both languages. As a specialized program within DCPS, admission to Oyster is carried out under a specialized process described below.
Age Eligibility Dates for School Year 2008-09
Pre-Kindergarten: Child must be 4 years old on or before September 30, 2008
Kindergarten: Child must be 5 years old on or before September 30, 2008
